Formax – fitting forms for garment development and technical applications

Formax develops professional fitting forms for the clothing and ready-to-wear industry. Clothing brands, product developers and manufacturers use them to assess fit, sizing and balance during design and production. Their fixed body shape makes checks consistent and comparable, without needing a live model for every intermediate fitting.

The models are available in different body shapes, sizes and versions. They provide a consistent reference point throughout collection development and garment quality control.

Alongside fitting forms, Formax offers specialised models for safety and ergonomics. The Safety range is used for technical testing of protective equipment and sportswear, including flame and wind tunnel tests. The Ergonomics range helps assess products and environments where human dimensions, posture and freedom of movement matter, such as workstations, seating and childcare products.
